On September 30, 2020, the State of California enacted the Senate Bill 973, which creates annual pay reporting requirements for employers. The SB 973 will require California employers of 100 or more employees to report pay and hours-worked data by establishment, job category, sex, race, and ethnicity to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) by the deadline and annually thereafter.
