Planned Parenthood to Pay $500,000 in DEI Discrimination Case

Planned Parenthood of Illinois agreed to pay $500,000 to resolve an EEOC investigation into alleged race discrimination tied to its DEI program. According to the EEOC, the agency found reasonable cause to believe that certain practices may have violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The allegations focused on how specific DEI-related initiatives were structured and implemented.

OFCCP Funding Sets 2026 Compliance Expectations

On January 20, 2026, the House Appropriations Committee released the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, which includes direct funding for OFCCP at approximately $101 million for FY 2026, pending congressional approval. If enacted, the FY 2026 appropriations will preserve OFCCP as a compliance-focused agency, while enforcement authority for race/sex discrimination remains centralized within DOJ/EEOC.
