Richard Lane, Principal Consultant, Compensation and Benefits Practice
Richard Lane is HR Unlimited’s Principal Consultant, focusing on Compensation and Benefits Practice. He brings extensive experience in compensation and benefits Administration and Consulting. Prior to his current practice in compensation and general human resources consulting, Mr. Lane spent 5 years with Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Manager in their Actuarial, Benefits, and Compensation Consulting Group. During this time he worked on a variety of compensation and benefits engagements including numerous wage and salary studies.
Prior to Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Lane was Corporate Manager of Compensation and Benefits Administration with Avery International. Before Avery, Mr. Lane spent 2 years with Solar Turbines in San Diego as a compensation analyst. He began his career with Ernst and Whinney (now Ernst and Young) as a consultant. Mr. Lane worked for Ernst and Whinney for three and a half years in compensation and general human resources consulting.
Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Politics and Law from the University of Southampton. After completing his undergraduate studies, Richard returned to school to earn his Master’s degree in International Relations.
