In this role, Ahmed is responsible for setting the overall corporate strategy for HR Unlimited (HRU) and directing business operations. Prior to joining HRU, Ahmed served as the District Director of the San Jose District Office for the Office of Federal Contract Compliance programs (OFCCP), an Agency of the Department of Labor. Ahmed has also served seven years with the Employers Group (EG), the largest non-profit employers association nationwide. His last position with EG was the Director of Compliance and Specialized HR Services, being responsible for compliance consultancy, primarily Affirmative Action requirements and Unemployment Insurance. Prior to Joining EG, he spent several years in human resources management with variety of industries and companies, including Textron, Rogerson Aircraft, and TRW (currently Northrop Grumman).
Ahmed’s background includes building human resources infrastructures for small-size companies as well as leading established human resources operations for mid size to Fortune 500 companies. He has valuable hands-on experience with all aspects of human resource management particularly with Affirmative Action Compliance Programs, Compensation, Training and Development, Employment, and Employee Relations. Ahmed has helped federal contractors and subcontractors through numerous compliance audits, including corporate management reviews (aka: the glass ceiling review). He also delivered webinars, workshops, and on-site training to enhance awareness of compliance requirements (EO 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and VEVRRA).
Ahmed is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA), Greater Los Angeles Industry Liaison Group, and the National Industry Liaison Group. Ahmed received a master degree in Human Resources Management from Chapman University, a master degree in Business Administration from National University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine.
